Neeraj Vasishta (18), a second semester student of SJCIT College in Chikkaballapur, sustained severe injuries on his head, chest and back. Car driver Sanjeev P C rushed him to Columbia Asia Hospital where he died an hour later.
Police have taken Sanjeev into custody and seized his car. Neeraj’s father is an Indian Air Force officer currently posted in Agra. The Vasishtas are from Haryana. Neeraj was staying at the IAF quarters with his mother and elder sister.
