In a bid to decongest Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna railway station, South Western Railways has decided to shift terminals of the following trains to Banaswadi station:

Train number 12683, Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Bi-weekly Express will run as Ernakulam- Banaswadi Bi Weekly Express from January 3, 2018. The train leaving Ernakulam on the said day will be terminated at Bansawadi instead of KSR Bengaluru.

Train number 12684, KSR Bengaluru - Ernakulam Bi-weekly Express will originate from Banaswadi instead of KSR Bengaluru from January 4 2018

The train, which will be rechristened as Banaswadi-Ernakulam Bi-weekly Express, will leave Banaswadi at 7 pm.

Also, train number 22607, Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Weekly Superfast Express, leaving Ernakulam on January 7, 2018, will be terminated at Banaswadi instead of KSR Bengaluru and will run as Ernakulam-Banaswadi Weekly Superfast Express.

Likewise, train number 22608, KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam Weekly Superfast Express will originate from Banaswadi instead of KSR Bengaluru with effect from January 8, 2018, and will run as train number 22608, Banswadi-Ernakulam Weekly Superfast Express. The train will depart Banaswadi at 7 pm.
