Christina says that during her first recording session as her character Lilly, Ricci and the directors found that her voice sounded too similar to co-star Hayden Panettiere’s. A change had to be made, so Ricci began experimenting, settling on what she calls her “baby voice,” which she jokingly uses while talking to her family. The result turned out to be fantastic and suited her ‘shy’ character pretty well.
Christina also said that despite all the challenges of working on an animation film, it was more fun and relatively easier than being on set. “You get to come in and be totally out of fancy hairstyles and make-up. You are in your own clothes and just do your performance,” says Ricci. Alpha and Omega released in India on February 4.
