PES University will offer one-year Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) certification and diploma courses from this academic year.
TalentQuest, in collaboration with Unity Technologies and PES University, launched India’s first Augmented and Virtual Reality Academic Unity Centre for Excellence on Tuesday, providing an opportunity to acquire knowledge and develop industry-standard skills by involving students in live projects and unity development programme.
Frank Merrit, CEO of TalentOuest, said in Bengaluru, there were many qualified workers in the technological area and they have substantial capabilities to employee certified workers in the particular field.
“Bengaluru provides hardworking, smart and talented employees and is the ideal place for setting up the centre. TalentQuest aims to equip citizens with skills that are required to excel in their existing job landscape using AR/VR Technologies. An estimate of 100-150 certified unity programmers are expected to be ready for employment within a year,” he said.
Yogish Shanbhag, president, Global Learning Solutions, TalentQuest, said there was a wide gap in the demand and supply of resources.
