A Bengalurean, who fell into a ditch at Gaganachukki Falls two days ago, was rescued on Monday.
Khader Pasha of Kadirenahalli, Bengaluru, visited the falls on Saturday. He tried to climb down the steps to the waterfalls, when he lost balance and slipped. Pasha survived as he did not fall into the water, but on a boulder. Pasha said he had sustained injuries and he survived by just drinking water in the last two days.
On Monday, he attracted the attention of the visitors by waving his jerkin. The visitors alerted the police, who rescued him safely with the help of local residents. He was provided treatment at the taluk hospital.
