Below the “wall”, the Namma Metro  will zip past taking people to the nook and cranny of the IT hub and above it, there will be lush lawns to be used for sports such as tennis.
A deal towards this was struck in the Karnataka High Court on Wednesday, as Justice Ram Mohan Reddy cleared all the hurdles for the construction of metro rail facilities through the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) land.

This was following a joint memo filed by the KSCA and the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) as per the direction of the high court.

With the agreement now in place, Justice Reddy disposed of the petition in which the KSCA had challenged the land acquisition of the Chinnaswamy stadium by the BMRCL.
The KSCA submitted in the memo that it would coordinate with the BMRCL for construction of its facilities underground.

The Association also promised not to interfere with the rights of the BMRCL, the memo added. On its part, the BMRCL said the KSCA could use the space over ground for landscaping, laying tennis court and setting up facilities for spectators, but without affecting the metro structures.
