Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Ravindranath said that a majority of districts in the State have received good rainfall. However some areas like Raichur, Gulbarga, Koppal and Bellary districts have received very little rain. Discussions will be taken up during the Cabinet meet on implementing cloud seeding in these areas, he said.
He said the Government has to allot a sum of Rs 25 crore for cloud seeding. “Hence, meteorological department has been instructed to submit a report on the weather forecast before the meeting,” he added.
