Kannada cine actor Raghuveer died due to cardiac problems at a private hospital in the City on Thursday.

The 49-year-old actor had shot to fame through his film ‘Chaitrada Premanjali.’

Raghuveer was admitted to a hospital after he complained of chest pain.

‘Chaitrada Premanjali’ being Raghuveer’s first film was a box office hit in the early 90s. It was also the first film of S Narayan as a director.

Though he acted in a few films later, they were not successful. Raghuveer had also tried his hands at film production.
