CISF constable, who slapped actor-MP Kangana Ranaut, transferred to Bengaluru International Airport

The sources said Kaur is under suspension and has been posted to the 10th reserve battalion based in the Karnataka capital pending a disciplinary inquiry.

Bengaluru: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable Kulwinder Kaur who slapped actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh at the Chandigarh Airport has been transferred to Bengaluru International Airport, according to sources in CISF.

However, a departmental inquiry is pending against her and the officials said that action will be taken against her based on the final report.

Kaur has been transferred to the 10th Battalion of Karnataka CISF. The 10th Battalion is responsible for providing security for Bengaluru International Airport and other important places in the state.

Officials said that she was transferred to ensure that the inquiry is fair. However, it is not known at what posting Kaur has been given in the 10th Batalion and her husband continues to work as a CISF personnel at the Chandigarh Airport.

Kaur was kept under suspension after the incident.
