Cow killed in tiger attack in Kodagu

A tiger has killed a cow even as the operation to capture it is in progress at Ponnampet.

A cow belonging to Ramachandra has been killed in a tiger attack at Nalkeri.

Meanwhile, the protest by Belluru residents has continued, demanding that the tiger must be shot and killed by the authorities.

More than 150 personnel from the forest department are engaged in an operation to capture the tiger using tamed elephants and trained dogs.
