Deputy Registrar of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) C P Shivakumar (57) died of cardiac arrest in Mysuru on Saturday.
It is said that he suffered heart attack while he was talking to his colleagues at his office on Saturday evening. He was rushed to Jayadeva Institute of Cardialogy, but was declared brought dead.
He is survived by wife and a son. He was the resident of Vivekanandanagar. His last rites were conducted at the crematorium at the foot of Chamundi Hill on Sunday.
