Spontaneously launching MAC (Mangaloreans against corruption) in her keynote address, Dr Bedi motivated students to fight against corruption. Saying that the country is affected with political corruption, she regretted that the Lokpal Bill drafted by the Government is weak.

“If a woman in her home rebels against her father, husband or son who gets money using corrupt practices, it will help greatly in curbing corruption,” said Karnataka State Cricket Association Treasurer Tallam Venkatesh.
