Spontaneously launching MAC (Mangaloreans against corruption) in her keynote address, Dr Bedi motivated students to fight against corruption. Saying that the country is affected with political corruption, she regretted that the Lokpal Bill drafted by the Government is weak.

Saying that the campaign against corruption is a national challenge, Dr Bedi advised students to visit the website www.indiaagainstcorruption.org

“If a woman in her home rebels against her father, husband or son who gets money using corrupt practices, it will help greatly in curbing corruption,” said Karnataka State Cricket Association Treasurer Tallam Venkatesh. He further advised students to manage their time and fight for the right cause.ONGC-MRPL Group General Manager K Laxminarayana advised students to maintain a positive attitude in life. He further stressed that giving bribe is equally wrong as taking bribe and the law should punish both the giver and taker equally.

Winners

SDM College of Management and Research (Mangalore) were the overall champions of Memorabilia 2011 and St Aloysius Institute of Management and IT (Beeri) were the runners up in the Post Graduate section.

St Aloysius College B. Com sections were the overall champions and SDM College Ujire were the runners up in Memorabilia in the Under Graduate Section.Ashish P V from St Aloysius was the best Manager in PG section and Maithri from Vivekananda College Puttur was the best manager in the UG section.
