Speaking after inaugurating a District Legal Counselling Clinic at the district court premises here on Monday, he said more than 3.5 crore cases were pending in the country. Senior advocates should become service-minded and should try to mediate between the clients and facilitate out of court settlements, he suggested.
Additional District and Sessions judge M Ramesh Rao who spoke on the occasion as the medical practitioners provide treatment for physical and mental health; the legal Counselling clinic would try to provide solutions to the family, social and other problems.
Fast Track Court judge K Balakrishna, District Bar Association president M N Jayaram, advocates A M Suresh and H J Sridhar, Additional Civil judge Saraswathi, Bar Association Secretary M T Thimmegowda were also present.
