Karnataka govt gives nod for hiring 45k teachers

Bengaluru: The state government has given approval for the recruitment of 45,000 guest teachers for the 2024-25 academic year. This includes 35,000 primary and 10,000 high school teachers. 

The commissioner for department of school education issued an order in this regard on Monday. Meanwhile, head masters of respective schools have been given authority to appoint guest teachers, while according priority to vacancies in rural schools and those without teachers.
