In a press release here, regional officer of KSPCB said the stall is named ‘Green think’ with the intent of creating awareness in the society about the greening options one has right from the designing of the building, its construction and day-to-day living including the tips for maintenance of the existing school, factory and home.
The stall has addressed this technical information in artistic manner in three major sections such as community, industry and institutions. The board’s message for public on pollution control is depicted through interesting cartoon script.
He said the highlight of the stall is the eco city model which depicts the elements of a green city with components such as green factory, green special economic zones, green school, green buildings, green townships, green home and the green hospital.
One gets also to see the finest collection of certified green buildings in Bangalore which are very unique in their features, design and eco friendliness. The stall has a public participation towards the commitment to making the planet green by having a opportunity to take a ‘eco pledge’.
