Women & Child Development Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar said on Thursday that 63 lakh women have received Rs 2,000 in their bank accounts under the Gruha Lakshmi scheme.
“Due to some technical reasons, there’s been some delay in crediting money. In 4-5 days, all beneficiaries will receive money,” she said. A total of 1.28 crore women are eligible for the scheme and 1.12 crore have signed up, she said.
