He sought transfer of DySP from the district.

Public help sought

Inspector General of Police (Southern Range), ASN Murthy opined that co-operation of general public is very important in reducing crimes in the district. Speaking after inaugurating the district-level convention of village patrolling units here, he said that about five to six teams have been constituted in all police station limits to check the incidents of crime. The police and unit members should work in tandem to put an end illegal activities.
