JD(S) leader and Madapura Gram Panchayat member Prasanna Kumar has been expelled from the primary membership of JD(S), for his inappropriate behaviour during the public campaign of Congress and JD(S) coalition in Kushalnagar on April 15.
JD(S) District Committee General Secretary Adil Pasha said that the gesture by Prasanna Kumar during the formal programme has caused an embarrassment to the leaders of coalition parties.
Prasanna had engaged in a verbal spat with the leaders of the state when the programme was going on. His behaviour is against the discipline of the party and the ethics of coalition. This could leave a bad impact on the party workers. Therefore, he has been expelled from the party membership. The decision has been taken after holding a discussion with the JD(S) state president, said Adil Pasha.
