Addressing a joint press conference with the CPM, the CPI and the Forward Block leaders on Thursday, JD(S) chief H D Deve Gowda said a protest rally will be organised in Bangalore on February 8 as a prelude to the agitation in the national capital. The protesters will also stage a dharna in front of Raj Bhavan, he added.
All secular parties will hold a meeting on February 9 after the protest, to chalk out their future strategy to take on the Centre over the 2G spectrum scam, he added.
