Traffic was thrown out of gear as hundreds of vehicles stranded on both the directions for more than one hour. The protesters alleged that several factories that are functioning in the industrial area are giving priority to people from Rajasthan, Bihar and other states thereby denying jobs for the locals. Besides, they are also exploiting local labourers by making them to work for 14 hours.

They shouted slogans against the management of these factories  and threatened to intensify their stir if their demands are not met. On information,  Circle Police Inspector Prashanth, Police Sub-Inspector Mahesh visited the spot and convinced them to call off the stir.
