Karnataka: Boat damaged as huge fish hits it

In a rare instance, a fishing boat fishing in the deep sea was damaged after being hit by a huge fish in wee hours on Saturday.

The huge sized fish, which hit the boat in local Tulu language is known as ‘Madal Meen’ (Needle Fish). As the fish had hit the boat hard, its mouth suffered injury and blood had flowed out profusely. The fishing boat was also damaged as the fish had come in contact with it with enormous force.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The boat, with a dozen fishermen on board, had left for fishing from Mangaluru Old Port, a
sources said.
