Karnataka government plans merger of departments: Deputy CM Karjol

The state government is planning merger of various departments to curtain unnecessary expenditure, Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjol has said.

Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, he said a committee headed by retired chief secretary T M Vijay Bhaskar had been constituted for this purpose.
