New Delhi: Insisting that there is no dearth of funds to the developmental works, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday said that on MLAs demand to sanction special grants would be looked into.

MLAs have been demanding for allocation of special grants to each assembly segment. In some constituencies, the government released special grants. Soon, funds will be provided to remaining segment as well, he told reporters here.

No MLAs have any complaints against the government. We have made budgetary provisions for all developmental works. Additional funds to each MLA segments would be provided in the coming days, he said.

He also reiterated that there is no plan to scale down or stop five guarantee schemes. All programmes will be continued,  he said.
