Bengaluru: The Karnataka high court has dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by Prajwal Revanna, former MP from Hassan parliamentary constituency.
The case was for offences under sections 376(2)(n), 376(2)(k), 506, 354A, 354(A), 354(B), 354(c) of the IPC and Section 66E of Information Technology Act.
Justice M Nagaprasanna pronounced the judgment on Friday. On October 21, the court had rejected three petitions filed by Prajwal, one seeking for regular bail and two seeking anticipatory bail.
Subsequently, the Apex Court had also rejected the petition filed by Prajwal Revanna challenging the order of the high court.
