A man has threatened to bomb the Mescom office in Bhadravathi for power cut when a channel airs Kannada film ‘KGF’ on March 30 evening.
The man, a Yash’s fan, campaigning for independent candidate Sumalatha in Mandya, in a letter to the Mescom executive engineer, threatened that their office would be bombed for power disruption.
In the letter, he has asked the Mescom officials not to yield to political pressure political pressure from Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy or former MLA M J Appaji.
Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy is in the fray against Sumalatha Ambareesh in the Lok Sabha polls in Mandya constituency.
Film actors Yash and Darshan are campaigning in favour of Sumalatha in the constituency.
