It is a kind of creeper-brinjal through which one can harvest vegetable sufficient for a family throughout the year.

According to Vasanth Kumar, one can harvest about a thousand brinjals annually by spreading the creeper on trellis, trees or fences. It does not require even any pesticides.
One can obtain more saplings from the original creeper itself that has wide leaves resembling spinach. The brinjal can be used in various types of curries. A single brinjal weighs upto 1-1.5 kg. The ripe brinjal can be used for preparing juice also, he explained.
A creeper yields for a decade, he added.
