Speaking after inaugurating a free training programme for KAS aspirants by Jnanabuthi here, he said Kolar district stood first in the number of candidates passing and KPS examinations.

Passing preliminary examination is easy but they have to work hard to pass final examination.

Pande complimented Jnanabuthi which has been holding free training for various competitive examinations for the last so many years, and wanted the students to take advantage of the same.

Dr A Balasubramanya, former vice-chancellor of Pondicherry University, Prof K M Veeraiah, Prof H M Rajashekar and Jainahalli Satyanarayana were present.
