A man-eater leopard, which had killed a boy at Somalapura village in the taluk, appeared again on Saturday afternoon, putting residents in a spot of bother.

Eranna, a driver, found the leopard first while clearing wild growth using an earthmover at Eradamatti in the village.

He ran to the village and informed everyone about the sighting of the big cat. The residents searched for the animal in the wild growth, with the help of sticks, but could not find it.
