Manjeshwara Govinda Pai remembered

DC Anand Singh inaugurating the 127th birth anniversary celebration of Rashtrakavi Manjeshwara Govinda Pai at the poets residence in Manjeshwara on Wednesday.

Inaugurating the 127th birth anniversary celebration of Manjeshwara Govind Pai on Wednesday at the poet’s residence here, Singh said that younger generation should take interest in knowing about life and works of Manjeshwara Govind Pai and gain inspiration from him.

Additional District Magistrate C Vasudeva presided over the programme. Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai Memorial Trust Secretary B V Kakkilaya, U A Khader, K R Jayananda, Subhashchandra Kanvatheertha and others were present on the occasion.

Dr K Subramanya Bhat, Kasargod Government College Lecturer Sridhar Yethadka, Dr Sundar Kenaje from Sullia BRC, Researcher Keshava Shetty Adur delivered papers on various topics.
