Union Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation Ramesh Jigajinagi announced on Monday that the Centre would provide Rs 43 crore for providing basic amenities at pilgrim centre of Mantralayam.
Mantralayam in Andhra Pradesh, bordering Karnataka is among 10 places in the country that have been chosen in the third phase of the ‘Swachchata Icon’ scheme. He was speaking after watching a presentation by the Raghavendra Swami Mutt here on the basic amenities in the town.
