Mysuru: The Lokayukta police, who are investigating a case related to Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, conducted a spot inspection of the 14 alternative sites, allotted by MUDA in Vijayanagar’s third and fourth stages to the CM’s wife B M Parvathi, on Friday.
They took petitioner and RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna along with them for the purpose.
Meanwhile, MUDA Commissioner A N Raghunandan passed an order to take back the sites on Tuesday following a request by Parvathi.
Additional district registrar office sub-registrar V Rukmini completed the process and released the documents to MUDA on Thursday.
In the appeal, Parvathi stated that the sites were allotted to her as compensation for allegedly using her 3.16 acres of land on survey number 464 of Kesare village in Mysuru taluk, without acquiring it.
The Lokayukta police are investigating the case based on an FIR filed against Siddaramaiah and others on September 27.
On September 25, a special court in Bengaluru for cases involving elected representatives directed the jurisdictional Lokayukta police in
Mysuru to initiate an investigation against Siddaramaiah and others based on a complaint filed by Snehamayi Krishna.
