Murder attempt on a murder accused

A gang of five men attempted to murder Dheeraj Poojary, a murder accused, at Ganeshakatte in Tannirbavi, on the city's outskirts on Friday.

Poojary is the prime accused in the murder of Shivaraj, brother of rowdy sheeter Bharathesh. Poojary had recently come out of jail on bail. A case was registered in Panambur police station.
