Naxal activity: Bomb detection squad inspects Kollegal

Following suspected Naxal activities in the border areas of the district, Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad personnel inspected various places in the town on Friday.

Naxal movement is suspected in Bandipur forest region, bordering Tamil Nadu and Kerala states.

The squad inspected places like court, bus stand, taluk office, market, temples, as per the directions of Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Kumar Meena.
