“Narayanamurthy is against Kannada. While we are striving to make Kannada mandatory from the first standard, he has been consistently asking for English as medium of teaching.
Moreover, he has no respect for Kannada,” opined Prof H L Keshavamurthy, Prof Hi Shi Ramachandregwoda, Prof K S Bhagawan, K Muddukrishna on Tuesday addressing a joint press conference.
The litterateurs said, “Inviting him to inaugurate the sammelana is a big crime. Narayanamurthy has been caught in a income tax scam.”
Instead Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa should take over the mantle of chairing the event, they said in a rather sarcastic tone.
