The Chikkamagaluru-Yeshwantpur Passenger (56277/56278) and the return train will be partially cancelled between Arsikere and Yeshwatpur on August 10 and 11 due to track-doubling work going on between Arsikere and Tumakuru sections.
Due to the electrification and doubling on Mysuru-KSR Bengaluru, some trains will be speeded up by making them super-fast between Mysuru and Bengaluru only with effect from August 15. However there is no change in train number, stoppages and zonal interchange timings. The overall reduction in journey time for these trains will range from 5 minutes to 20 minutes, according to a press release.
