The wearing of masks in public places is mandatory and fine will be imposed on those who fail to adhere to the guidelines of the government.
If anyone is found moving around without wearing a mask, then he/she will be asked to pay a fine of Rs 100 for the first time. For the second time offence, Rs 500 fine will be collected. Seven teams have been constituted in the district to ensure that all citizens wear masks in public places.
