He was speaking after planting a sapling at the premises of government pre-university college, here on Saturday.
The programme was organised jointly by forest and education department, District
Advocates Association and District Legal Services Authority.
He felt that global warming can be brought down only if saplings are planted.
DDPI Bellishetty said through out the State 10 lakh saplings will be planted to safeguard ecological balance. Saplings are planted at schools and colleges he added.
District Advocates’ Association president K M Govindareddy and others spoke.
Civil judge Mohammed Mujaidd Ulla, principal civil judge M K Ashok, additional civil judge Jareena Taj and range forest officer Timmaiah, public prosecutor G R Harikumar, G L Nanjan Kumar, block education officer R Ashwathappa, vice-principal Yashodamma, teacher Shambhavi and others were present.
