The Forest Department officials arrested three people on the charges of poaching a deer and seized the deer meat from the arrested, at Kannehalli in Mudigere taluk.
The arrested are Mani, Sundar and Gajendra of Kannehalli in Gonibeedu hobli. Acting on a tip-off, the officials raided a coffee estate and arrested the trio. The pelt of deer and meat were seized. The arrested men have been remanded in judicial custody.
