President remembers Cariappa on his birth fete

President Ram Nath Kovind has remembered the contributions of Field Marshal K M Cariappa on his 120th birth anniversary.

In a tweet, the president said, “Remembering Field Marshal K M Cariappa on his birth anniversary. A great son of Kodagu, Karnataka and above all India, he is cherished as one of our finest military commanders. And remains a much loved national hero.”

The president has tweeted in English and Kodava language.
