Disgruntled Congress leader and Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi, who has remained incommunicado since Tuesday after he was shown the door from the Kumaraswamy ministry, is rumoured to have left to Maharashtra to meet BJP national president Amit Shah.
Ramesh Jarkiholi had threatened to resign as MLA after he was dropped from the Cabinet. He was not seen at his residence in Gokak nor in district headquarters since Tuesday. Ramesh had left his residence in Gokak on Wednesday and speculations are rife in political circles that he was planning to meet BJP chief Amit Shah through a powerful Valmiki leader from Maharashtra. Satish Jarkiholi, who was drafted into Kumaraswamy ministry on Monday, had said that he would hold talks with his brother Ramesh shortly.
