Ready to take up any responsibility: Umesh Jadhav

Dr Umesh Jadhav, who won Gulbarga parliamentary seat by defeating Congress veteran Mallikarjun Kharge, said he was ready to take up the responsibility if he's made a union minister.

“I am ready to take up the responsibility if the party gives me an opportunity. But I will not lobby for it,” he told reporters replying to a question whether he was aspiring to become a minister.

By defeating Kharge, who had never tasted defeat in his long political career, Jadhav has emerged as a giant killer. Jadhav defeated Kharge by a healthy margin of 94, 140 votes.
