More than 1,000 IT aspirants including engineering and non-engineering graduates from across the state participated in the IT job and internship fair organised by Raman International Institute of Information technology(RiiiT) here on Saturday.
With more than 14 IT companies participating in the event, the selection process is underway. VTU Mysore region special officer Prof B Manju inaugurated the job fair.
Addressing job aspirants, Theorem India co-founder Chandrakanth B N stressed on the importance of skills set, which is expected by the employers in IT sector.
He also mentioned about the internship process initiated by RiiiT exclusively for non-placed engineering graduates, which makes every graduate to have hands on experience with industry vouched IT, soft, analytical, life and English skills. Chandrakanth endorsed about IT industry requirements and said first three months of their job will be a crucial period in their career.
