Road accident: Pillion rider succumbs to injuries

A pillion rider who was injured in a road accident, succumbed to the injuries, at a hospital in Mangaluru, on Tuesday.

P A Sulaiman is the deceased. He was a native of Palya village in Aluru taluk.

Sulaiman and his son Mohidin Nasik were travelling on a motorbike and were returning after taking part in a family function in Kushalnagar.

The vehicle met with an accident at Shantapura Main Road in Kodlipet hobli. Sulaiman who was injured was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

A complaint has been registered in Shanivarasanthe Police Station.
