Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, on Saturday, dropped a bombshell on BJP leaders by claiming that he himself sent Nagamangala JD(S) MLA Sureshgowda to meet BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa.
“I have the recording of their conversation and it will be released at a suitable time,” Kumaraswamy said.
Kumaraswamy was speaking to reporters here. “I had sent Sureshgowda to Yedyurappa to know what he says and the conversation has been recorded on the mobile phone,” he said. He said, “If my call to revolt against the BJP is an offence, what should I call the BJP leaders, who claimed that they will burn the state?”
When asked about Congress MLA M T B Nagaraj, who went to Mumbai, the chief minister said the MLA obtained permission and he would return on Sunday. He said no Congress MLA was in touch with the BJP.
