Hassan: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing sexual abuse allegations against Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna has issued another notice to Bhavani Revanna, Prajwal's mother, in connection with the kidnap of a woman from K R Nagar in Mysuru district, asking her to appear before it on June 1.
The present notice states that since Bhavani did not respond to the earlier notices served by the SIT, she must comply and appear on June 1, given the need for an inquiry.
Bhavani Revanna had earlier informed the SIT that she was ready to cooperate at her Chennambika house in Holenarasipur in case there was a need for questioning.
"The team, along with the women officers will come to your residence in Holenarsipur on June 1, for an inquiry from 10 am to 5 pm," the SIT inspector stated in the notice to Bhavani.
Bhavani has applied for bail at a special court in Bengaluru in the case. The hearing will be held on Friday.
With the SIT issuing a notice, there is a possibility that Bhavani could be arrested if she is not granted anticipatory bail, sources said.
