SP warns against forceful bandh during Tipu Jayanti

Somwarpet: Superintendent of Police Dr Suman D Pannekar on Thursday warned of initiating criminal action against miscreants who forcetraders to observe bandh during Tippu Jayanti celebrations here.

The SP, after inspecting the security arrangements in place, said the normal day-to-day business transactions in the town will remain unaffected.

Some traders may observe bandh voluntarily, but stringent action will be taken against forceful bandh and those involved in stone pelting and damaging public properties, she warned.
