An engineering college student died in an accident which occurred near Kottara Chowki in Mangaluru on Tuesday.
The deceased is Vishakh Aithal (20), a resident of Maruthinagara in Hosabettu.
The incident occurred when a tempo driver who lost control over the vehicle and crossed the road divider and fell on the bike rider. The seriously injured Aithal died on the spot.
