The department had grown sapplings of silver oak, teak, cashew, acacia and jack at their centres in N R Pura, Kalmakki and Balagadi.
The sapplings, which were nurtured using forest soil, cow dung and water, will be distributed through Jalanayana Sanghas under various schemes from June first week.
A total of 1.75 lakh sapplings were grown under the Sujala Scheme, 55,815 sapplings under Western Ghat Development Scheme and 4.08 lakh under DPAP Scheme.
