Municipal administration and district in-charge Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi said on Saturday that his younger brother, MLA Satish Jarkiholi, had the ambition to become the chief minister. Ramesh said he would ensure that Satish would become the chief minister.

He was speaking to media persons at his hometown Gokak. Ramesh hinted that he may pave the way for Satish to become a minister. Ramesh dismissed rumours and said he would not quit the Congress.
