Gonikoppa (Kodagu): A 66-year-old woman died after a wild elephant attacked her in Ponnampet taluk on Monday. Gowri from Devarakadu Colony of Devarapura in the taluk is the deceased.
She was returning home home on Monday evening when the elephant attacked her, incident took place, Range Forest Officer Gangadharappa said.
